Admission to the First State Examination
- For admission to the first state examination, please follow the rules as stated in the Examination Regulations (LPO I) of March 13, 2008. There you will find the requirements you need to fulfill to be admitted to the examination in the subject of computer science:Gymnasium (intensified) § 69 LPO I
- Realschule and Mittelschule (not intensified) § 49 LPO I
Our study plans are precisely tailored to these examination requirements, so that by completing the study plans in full, all examination requirements are acquired.
Students in the study program for Vocational Pedagogy Technics obtain the title Master of Education (M.Ed.) through the master’s program, which entitles them to enter the Teaching Practice (Referendariat) without an additional First State Examination. The study plans are also aligned accordingly here.

Exam periods, registration deadlines, and inspection of graded exams performances
Information on exam periods, registration deadlines, and dates for the inspection of graded exam performances is published by the Examination Office.
Accepted aids for the First State Examination
Currently, the pocketbook of computer science (Schneider) and a non-programmable pocket calculator (without a display with graphic output) are permitted as aids in the 1st state examination. The permitted aids are set by the Ministry of Education and are communicated by mail after registration for the state examination.
